INTERNATIONALISATION: Let's
Create Project Ideas!
Manisa
Celal Bayar University (MCBU) is inviting you to the Erasmus International
Staff Training Week, organized by the School of Foreign Languages. This week is
directed to teaching staff and administrative staff at academic units and
international relations officers at Higher Education Institutions, project
managers, NGO leaders or youth workers. The programme of the event will
include both academic and cultural activities, such as lectures, workshops,
guided tours etc.
The event will be held from 24th to
27th April 2023.
What is the focus of the staff week?
The fundamental goal of the Erasmus staff
week on internationalization is to provide participants with the knowledge
necessary to make their university visible in the international framework.
If you want to be part of a network of
committed and reliable partners, if you want to develop your project idea
directly with partners, if you want to become partner of other Erasmus+ projects,
then take part in our Partnership Building Activity!
We aim to exchange opinions for creating
project ideas in the fields of
- Creativity, arts and culture
- Development of disadvantaged rural and urban areas
- Digital transformation and digital youth work
- Inclusion and diversity
- Increasing quality, innovation and recognition of youth work
- Promoting common values, active citizenship and participation
Participants are expected
to have an Erasmus+ project idea before the event which will be basis for
finding partners (creating teams) and developing projects. The ideas will be
further developed with the assistance of other participants and the trainer.
On day-1, participants will join the training session
about how to create internalization ideas and basic concepts of writing a
project. The programme continues with a poster session. In the presentation
session, we would like to give the participants space for their own poster
presentations (min. 5 minute-length) for better sharing of their knowledge and
advice to each other. Participants are expected to share their experiences in
Erasmus projects in the mentioned fields and internationalization activities in
their home institutions. They can also share their project ideas in the same
session, so participants are requested to bring a poster which involves some
information related to internationalization activities, previous projects
conducted and future project ideas. We expect a very active participation. In
the walking wall activity, each participant will stick their posters on the
wall, and the participants are expected to visit each other’s posters and
discuss on the project ideas together.
On day-2, We’ll connect you with partners who share
similar interests. You will be introduced to the cooperative writing process,
adding value, strength and consistency to your project idea! in the light of
the first day sessions, participants will work in groups, interact in a dynamic
scenery, and be encouraged to foster dialogue and debate on ideas for future
Erasmus + projects and finally the groups will put their work on
paper.
On day-3, it is time to have fun! Participants will
join an enjoyable trip to the heart of history in the region.
(Virgin Mary’s House, Ephesus Ancient City,
Şirince Village, Şirince Orthodox Church, and Kuşadası).
Let’s pick the fruit then! On day-4, the groups will
present the output of their group work, and all the participants will share
their ideas for the future collaborative projects.
During days 2 and 4, when working in teams, you will
develop your project idea, and also you will join other project
ideas.
We wish to open Manisa Celal Bayar University School
